Chinese Regulations on the Production and Use of Wooden Frames​

In China, the production and use of wooden frames are regulated by multiple government agencies, including the General Administration of Customs and the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.​

For the domestic market, when it comes to raw wood frames used in construction, they must meet certain quality and safety standards. The wood used should be of appropriate strength and durability. In the packaging industry, raw wood frames need to be properly treated if they are used for shipping certain products, especially those that are exported. Heat treatment or fumigation may be required depending on the destination country’s regulations.​

Regarding 三合木架 (plywood frames), plywood production in China is subject to strict quality control. The production process should ensure that the plywood meets national and international standards in terms of strength, formaldehyde emissions, and other quality parameters. Plywood frames are widely used in both domestic and international trade, and they need to comply with relevant regulations regarding product quality and safety.​

For 熏蒸木架 (fumigated wood frames) that are used for export, the fumigation process must be carried out in accordance with international standards and the requirements of the importing country. The fumigant used should be approved, and proper documentation about the fumigation, including the type of fumigant, the treatment duration, and the date of fumigation, must be provided. This ensures smooth customs clearance in the importing country.
