Greece enforces EU TPD regulations through the Ministry of Health and Customs. E-cigarettes are legal but subject to strict controls, with a focus on preventing youth access.​

Labels must be in Greek, with warnings like “Η νικοτίνη είναι μια επιθετική ουσία” (Nicotine is an addictive substance) and ingredient lists. Greece allows flavored e-cigarettes but prohibits marketing that targets minors.​

Transporting e-cigarettes to Greece requires compliance with ADR regulations for road transport of lithium batteries. Air freight via Athens International Airport must include a declaration of battery type and quantity, following IATA guidelines.​

Customs documentation includes a commercial invoice, EORI number, and TPD compliance certificate. Greece imposes a 24% VAT on e-cigarettes, plus a tobacco tax of €0.08 per ml of nicotine e-liquid. The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) may inspect shipments to verify compliance, so ensure products meet all standards.
