For products containing allergens, they must be clearly marked.

Pay taxes and fees: Pay tariffs, value-added tax and other taxes and fees according to the value and category of the goods.
Release and pick up: After the inspection and tax payment, the goods can be released, and the importer arranges to pick up and transport them to the destination.
Precautions
Understand local market demand: Before importing, fully investigate the demand characteristics of the South African market for health products, choose products suitable for the local market, and avoid blind imports.
Establish a good logistics channel: There are certain differences in South Africa’s logistics infrastructure. Importers need to choose reliable logistics partners to ensure safe and timely transportation of goods.
Pay attention to policy changes: South Africa’s import policy may be adjusted according to domestic conditions. Importers should pay close attention to policy changes and adjust import strategies in a timely manner.
